My research interests span the development of materials (organic and inorganic) for photonic applications and optoelectronic device components, i.e. modulators, lasers and amplifiers, particularly those involving strong localization, propagation and radiation of light. I came to Oxford in April 2016 to take up a new position as Associate Professorship of Engineering Science (Photonics) at Oxford in association with a Tutorial Fellowship at Lincoln College. Prior to that, I was Reader in Physics and Director of Imperial’s Plastic Electronics Centre for Doctoral Training (PE-CDT).
